Been a fun year but we've gone from Horvat-Miller down the middle to what we have now. Well done MNGT.

5 goals on 12 shots please make a fucking save.

That is all.

Thanks Yorks. Seems like we're getting into moral victory season here.

Brutal loss. Not Lankinen's fault, just one of those 1 in 100 games you do almost everything right and lose.

That Rangers team is completely propped up by Shesterkin, wow did they ever look terrible.

I feel like this entire season has had one thing after another derail it. I've been pretty good with Allvin and Ruthy, but I think they take a large chunk of the blame for the season: not keeping the vets around for the known dressing room issues, handicapping the D to start the year, letting the drama get beyond the scope of the team and not really putting those fires out... not all on them, obviously, especially with the injuries.

It's going to be a real test this offseason to see how they maneuver. Very make-or-break going into Hughes' penultimate year on his current contract.

I agree. They let the story get ahead of them. Killed our C depth in their pursuit of a Dman that could have been signed as a free agent in the offseason. Now we're left with a team of middling guys that can't score outside of what 1 superstar Dman can generate. I think a few more overpaid Swedes will solve the problem though.

I think they'll be a better team next year... as longs as more things don't derail. Demko will be available to split games, Petey will have the offseason to properly train, no media bonanza... and I have a feeling Allvin will make a big trade or two. Their defense is set, and they've talked about target a top 6 center. I mean, would be hard to be worse than this year, that's for sure.

For everything that went right last season, there was a counterbalance this season.

It's funny to me that the worst imaginable scenario for the Rutherford/Allvin era is still better than Benning's highest height

I’ll agree in general & in the offseason mgmt faces a huge challenge to steady the team &/or including what happens with RT & his staff.

Blame can be shared by all those wanting Miller run out of town. Rescuing the season falls on mgmt & those same fans. Overpaying 1 player ignited it all.

Agree a team of middling forwards that needs an elite addition.

Miller ran himself out of town. This wasn't some isolated incident, and had been brewing well before they paid Petey. Miller is not a victim of anything other than his own actions.

Combination of both and some very poor decisions by current MNGT/Coaching.

Hilarious that the Benning-Green era got us 60 mins away from the conference finals too...

Which this MNGT group hasn't surpassed.

7-8 players from last years roster are gone and the same results were expected. This MNGT group has us moved on from two of the best centres in the game in Horvat and Miller. But yet we brought back Myers. Let Cole go. And now we have a 60 point version of Pettersson. If anything...this MNGT group has totally bungled what Benning left them to work with.

The book of excuses should be fun though...

Got back from a camping trip and appears the season is all but over with Pettersson and Hoglander the latest casualties in a season of catastrophes.

Injuries (Demko, Hughes, Joshua and now Pettersson?)
Extended cold periods (Pettersson, Boeser, many others)
Unexplained absences (JTM)

Did Hronek miss a chunk of time as well?
Chytil out indefinitely now…good grief.

There were a few bright spots no doubt.
But too much adversity to overcome.

I would think they will make a top 6 move too, likely sign a center. I’m still holding out hope for Bennett

McQueen will go top 5, even though he’s missed time. Martone is going to make some team very happy.
