He needs to sit for the rest of the year. It makes zero sense to bring him back for a handful of games. Shut McAvoy down. Shut anyone with lingering injuries down if its questionable. Roll the lineup you can. If they lose out, they lose out. |

Season is lost and its pretty clear he is phoning it in. Oh well. We are in line for a top 5 pick this year though.
Maybe Sweeney sends a message and takes a couple goalies in the draft.  |

As an aside Dean Letourneau is not having a great year at Boston College. Hope that's just growing pains.

I think its just growing pains. He is a longer term project. Not playing in the USHL prior to college works against him, but I think he will be ok. Needs to work on strength and defensive game. He was utilized primarily in a bottom six role this year.
Maybe once Leonard and a few others move on, he will get a bigger opportunity. |
