Yes, if true. Question is did they pay her because they knew he was guilty or b) just to make the problem go away and hopefully avoid publicity, which clearly now didn’t happen. It’s a really bad look and optic and if the league was not aware, they certainly will investigate now.

He’ll always be guilty in some peoples eyes no matter what happens from here. He’s going to have to give a statement now, so curious to see his side. The story doesn’t sound fabricated, but he made his intentions pretty clear and she still went to his room. Assuming he thought that meant she was down, but using force of any kind is inexcusable. That part of the story is his word against hers. Absolutely the last thing this organization needed.
