Excellent news! Going to be a good watch in the "A" and the SCPO. LOVE this time of year.

Danielson's going to need more time. He's got tools, but needs to refine how he uses them, same with MBN. From what I read, ASP looks comfortable on NA ice, so let's see what he can do for GRG, and at camp 🤞🤞

Will contact you Tuesday!!!

ASP was making plays. I was a little taken aback. I think with Danielson it may be will he be better on a top line in GR or depth in Detroit. Lombardi, to me, is ready. Was shocked at how physical Buium can be (when not suspended!). The kids have a big opportunity! Will chat Tuesday!

All I can say is if Holl ever steps on the ice for the red wings again. Then Yzerman is not a serious GM and needs to be removed. I believe that if we had fired Lalonde sooner and had kept Walman , Ghost and Maata instead of the genius move of keeping Gus and Holl we would be in the playoffs this year. So whose fault is it that the wings are out.

I was reallysurprised that Maatta was traded. He was MUCH better than how he was deployed unde Lalonde and would've a MUCH btter asset under The Todd Father. The mis-management of Ghost's contract was a resultof how Mo & Rayzor's contracts played out, butMAN could we have had a much better D with Ghost, Maatta, AlJo, Eddy, and Mo or what? I'd wager our PK would've been soooo much better and we may....MAY.....have had a better shot at the SCPO. Again, not sure how far we would've gone, but we'd have been a bit tougher to play against, I'd think.

I think Ghost was the most “keepable” based on what we’ll probably all hear in about 20 years. Walman was an insane talent but some inside tensions turned that upside down. Never want to see Holl on the ice again, and pretty sure LaLonde is there as well. He’s an easy buyout or even waiver that can be replaced by Tuomisto without blinking. For Ghost, I keep going back to this. It took all summer to sign Seider and Raymond. The best I can understand is that Raymond’s outbreak at the end of the season seriously upped his market value. While they were working on those deals, they didn’t have the guaranteed $ so Ghost grabbed a gig that did. Can’t blame him at all. Lemieux pushed off negotiations until the hard cap number was out. Now the argument of exactly how high the cap is going to go is back on when the league split it into 3 proposed boosts (but not guarantees). It sucks, but somehow both got inked at reasonable deals without massive bonuses. If either had already been signed by the start of the summer, I think Ghost would still be here. For Walman, awful to see him go. Can live more with Maata but the D has to move forward. Petry is gone, looks like they want Edvinsson and Seider together (and played with that line quite a bit in the last few games) so wondering who the 2nd line left/right combo will be. If ASP is there, they need a solid lefty. There are a few D men that have clubs worried about offer sheets. Edmonton knows they have a big chunk coming with McDavid so trades and offer sheets may be way more interesting than free agency this year
