Shane Wright is a big fish, someone in their prime now would be going the other way. I was thinking Forester or Tippett. Flyers fans will miss those players. but I think you do it for Shane Wright.

That Dumba trade is basically paying 3 million for a 2nd rounder in 28. 4 right handed D men on the roster now. Makes you wonder Dubas has a taker for Karlsson.

Unless a major imoact player thats a gard pass and no from Seattle. Francis isnt dealing his too and real only potent offensive weapon in McCann, and they aren't giving up on Wright now that he is starting to produce and show and lose their you g ready talent. And Seattle definitely doesnt need more prospects or picks. Unless its a bonafide #1 C or star winger not a chance.

There isn’t an untouchable player outside of MM and Martone for Shane Wright.

He didn’t hit the ground running like some early 1st rounders, especially for ones initially projected first overall, but he had what was essentially a solid rookie campaign. I know he spent 8 games apiece with the Kraken the prior two seasons, but that was pretty trivial.

Wright should at the very least be a quality 2nd center, and possibly a pretty decent top line talent.

I have no idea why the Kraken would entertain an offer. Between he and Beniers, they should be happy to have their centers settled the next 6-10 years. Plus Stephenson should age nicely into their 3rd slot.

What do you think they’d want outside of MM and Martone? TK? TK is the final piece for some team ready to take a serious shot. Seattle isn’t there, and I’m sure they don’t want to surrender Wright for a top line wing in his prime.
