GM gone. No need to stop there. Need a re-vamping. Coach is next, as the new GM, whoever he/she is, will want there own guy.

Then the business of deciding which players get shipped out, and who do they leave behind to build around.

My guess, Matthews, Marner and JT are going nowhere, that leaves Willy as the main trade piece. But, either way...they need that new GM in place ASAP. Free agency, the draft...they need targets and the people to pull off the moves. Tick-tock!!

Do people know there's teams in place still that have the info for the team right? It isn't like the pro scouts don't have an idea of who's a FA and they wait until the last minute for the GM to do all the work. The scouting department has done and will run the draft 99% regardless of who the GM is.

Pridham is interim GM so these decisions are on him and the people around him for the time being. Obviously with a Shanahan micro manage, who's already been operating as GM apparently.

I wouldn’t include Marner on the not going anywhere list. Treliving traded Tkachuk who he drafted. He wouldn’t hesitate moving Mitch if the right deal came along. I just worry that he might move him even without the right deal.

Actually, the Flyers suck big time. They've sucked big time for a long time. They are putrid. When talking about about a team's top six, the Flyers don't enter the conversation. They have maybe a top 0.5 on a good day. Add the mess they have in net and the Flyers will be NHL doormats for a long time.

They do. They finally have a GM who will allow them to enter a rebuild.

The Leafs had their rebuild. All they have to show for it is heartbreak after heartbreak.
