Thanks Michael, hope Mikheyev is ready for season opener, but with no training camp he will probably need a couple of weeks to get in game shape.

Thanks mike.

Fingers crossed that the current trend of this managements acquisitions sitting on injury reserve more than playing is a thing of the past.

I say Mikheyev will miss game one to make the team compliant. Pearson is a good addition. He is a steady forward that will get you 17 goals and be a team leader on and off the ice. I hope he has a good year so that he will have value at TDL.

Cole and Myers also a move at TDL. I would add Dakota to that list also.

Bubble team and I think they miss the PO again but heading in the right direction quicker than any Canuck team in the last decade. They will be at least watchable this year.

pretty sure it’s not plagiarism when he credits Daliwal more than 5 times for the news…and not everyone is into that hard to follow, dumbass yuk yuk fest,

I wasn’t aware of the injury status and where players were at the moment, the 1st thing I took away was acknowledging Daliwal repeatedly for the info.

I have tried to watch the show late at night, but find it annoying with Don and his sidekick arguing and Daliwal has a deer in the headlights look, granted he’s in the know, but the show seems really juvenile for a couple of old dudes reporting sports news.

Just my take, I’m probably off base.

Don and Dhali are mostly shills now, Dhali isn't really in the know, he just reports what his 'insiders' (mostly Canucks front office employees and player agents) tell him and it's mostly what the team and the players want told. You aren't going to get actual news and rumors that are real scoops because the reporters and teams are both in bed with each other. The reporters don't want their cushy sky box seats and catering lost because they reported something the team didn't want reported and the team doesn't want any real dirty laundry aired that could make them look bad (that wasn't vetted by their PR departments).

I don't listen or watch sports talk, haven't since the Canucks broadcasting rights left CKNW, it was taken over by the Sport Page mafia and their day came and went once 1040 went off the air.

Im sure it can’t be any worse than the 1040 days when Donny and Co. would spend hours talking about their favourite vending machine candy. That was so painful to listen to.

I am perplexed between this retool and rebuild notion. Does it all need to be draft picks?

Anyway it seems no one has confidence in the Canucks being competitive. So I guess there is room for surprise this time.

I rather see it as most fans are blasé after the last fews years. The spinning wheels has worn down the heartiest fan. The team has to come outta the gate hard & win back their total support. Doable
