Near the end of the period, Ryan McLeod took an unfortunate high sticking call, giving the Canucks a four minute penalty.

I believe the correct statement here would include "Ryan McLeod took an unfortunate high sticking call right after the officials let Miller get away with an obvious holding call against him, giving the Canucks a four minute power-play."

For all the "praise" being heaped upon Miller for his shutting down of McDavid, the people doing so should be embarassed. Is he good? Yes. But he's a throwback to the 90s. All he does is clutch and grab and interfere and then b*tch and complain when someone does the same to him when he's finished his dive trying to get a call.

Was a very un-Oiler like move calling the timeout after the 3-2 goal, but it's one we've been calling for, for ages in these situations. So it was great to see Knob actually use the thing unlike past coaches.

Dallas is going to be a tough matchup. Probably tougher than the last few years (Vegas/Colorado) overall. Colorado lacked goaltending, we couldn't take advantage (just like Vancouver here). Vegas was just Vegas, I don't need to say anything here, we would've needed to move heaven and earth to beat Bettman's darling. Dallas however, i'd say the weakness could be Otter. If we can exploit him like Vegas did R1, we have a shot.

Congrats on advancing. It's good to see McJesus make a deep run.

I don't like Dallas or New York, so I am honestly rooting for the Cup to go back home to Canada. It's long overdue.

Wow. Can't remember seeing a team in the playoffs win so many games they didn't deserve to win. 12 shots on goal, 16, 17 shots on goal, no problem we have developed the formula for scoring goals by bouncing it in off somebody's skate. That's the Nucks new brand of hockey, hang around long enough to get the bounces.
So glad karma caught up to the two absolute most dirtiest players in the league, Hughes, and Pettersson.

I mean to be fair, that guy also has a season pass to this website so I am not sure why you would take anything he says as any form of intelligence.

It took 7 games to beat a goalie with 7 NHL games experience, a team missing its best player then losing its top scorer for game 7 bravo losers bravo

When Draisaitl is engaged he is amazing. This hasn't occurred much all season, but it is right now. I'm loving the way he plays. In fact, I'd possibly consider him over McDavid if he continues to give 100%...he is an absolute BEAST when he is at 100%. Problem is that he is not at 100% effort most of the time.

Bouchard has always been B+ offensively and I would say he's gone from an F to a solid C defensively, much credit to Ekholm.

Interesting how cavalierly you use the dipsh!t term when you STILL can't f7n read. Bouchard is still a defensive liability, but improving nicely.

Absolutely groundbreaking stuff man! I mean earth shattering bud!…McDavid should score more goals to give Oilers a better chance of winning! Nobody better accuse you of being a clown with this stroke of genius.

Playoff performance is all that matters and Drai delivers every playoffs. In fact, he's up there with Gretz and Mario when it comes to production. Don't ever speak of trading him again.
