They can’t play any worse than they did today lol hopefully they have better legs Tuesday.

The teams identity is what people have a problem with. They aren’t puck hogs like hockey world darlings, canes and panthers. They win games with goaltending, special teams, the it factor and mojo. The latter are things you can’t measure with shot attempts or puck possession. They’re opportunistic and get the big goal at the right time no matter how bad they’ve looked.

The ride has been exhilarating so far, and hard to believe at times. The 93 Canadiens had their run like this where they won in OT every game it felt like, and Roy stole them games. It’s ok to win like this 🤷🏻‍♂️

When we shoot the puck in, they clear the zone in 2 seconds. We need to be able to clear the zone. When we get the puck on the half wall, instead of passing it forward, we always seem to throw it backward, that's how we get hemmed in our own zone for 90 seconds. Florida makes it look so easy, I don't know why we can never do it.

Ugly, brutal game but such is life. Cant complain much until they lose. Thank God for Igor.

But they need to ease up the pressure on these guys. This why they’re under siege all game, because they’re gassed. 7th D will at least reduce the minutes collectively.

Today the first period set the tone being shorthanded 3 times so that taxed them the rest of the game.

Clearing the zone seems to be the biggest issue and it burns them when the go low around the boards. If they would just lift the puck, away from the boards, right into the logo at center ice that would be a big help. Go high with the clears. They can’t outlet pass well enough along the boards, that’s when Florida is at its absolute best. The game 2 OT goal is exactly what I mean and that’s when you catch Florida and get them on their heels

Rangers need to tighten it up and we need to see more from Panarin, Zib, Fox (injury be damned), Trouba, and others. Igor can only do so much. The PP needs to do better. I am extremely happy they won and was expecting it as well. But that doesn’t mean they are immune to criticism and there are players that need to step it up if they expect to go the distance.

No right to win that game as you said Jan but the Rangers got it done in end & again with a OT goal from a UN likely guy getting it done. More than a breath of fresh air for us to get that win this was a devestating loss for FLA.

So much talk about shot attempts but who cares. You cant score if your shots dont get on goal. Panthers had like 70 more shot attempts but only 14 more shots on goal. Carolina won the shot attempt trophy last round and they are playing golf. It's all about finishing. Without the help of some bad officiating that game doesnt get to OT....regarding the game I make 1 change in game 4. Replace Panarin with Laf on the 1st PP unit. Love Panarin but in physical series he is invisible. Handles the puck like it's a grenade and wants to unload it so he doesnt get hit.

Brutal game especially T and Miller. However bad the rangers were they were up by 2 goals and failed to close it out. Aside from fox not sure if bread is nursing an injury. He just does not look right. Laffy is a star. For all the goody bashing he is playoff harden. Igor is the king reincarnated. Again crappy officiating. BUT we found a way and that’s why I love this team. I just has heart surgery this past week so I would enjoy a little less stress. Let’s close this out against a very good panthers team. LGR

Similar things every playoff year, whether it's Nash, Gaborik, Panarin. It's like all we need is those guys to score in the playoffs and they never do which makes us need our goalies Hank or Igor to stand on their damn heads.

The game was actually great to watch. Awesome 2nd period and then they did that prevent defense again. Just doesn’t work against the great teams. Should just play like they are tied all game even when up by 2

Nobody was doom and gloom after that win. Thrilled for another OT win. Everyone had the same sentiment. They got outplayed at times but found a way to win. Igor stole it. Top guys and PP get going and they’re in good shape
