No. Too much ego, expensive in trade cost, and too much of a problem. Much easier to go after other trade targets or ufa like Marchessault. I would think Bylsma would rather have the young prospect players he knows working into the lineup over moving them out for a real streaky offense only player with problems.
Interesting is the word they've talked moving Tirbo which would be a huge move out of a fan favorite. That said his bang crash style is taking a toll injury wise and he is prone to bad penalties.

Actually I think Konecny would be a nice fit in Seattle, it would probably cost more than Laine, but you get more consistency and less baggage. |

Doubt Laine would cost much at all in acquisition cost. Especially if SEA takes the full cap hit. |

Agreed, I stated a 4th round Pick and a 6th could get it done! I feel like a team with space should take a flyer, he could reinvent himself and flourish, he has the size and skill to be very successful. |

I know Laine doesn't have much value, but that seems to be lowballing. Obviously that involves taking all the cap hit, but I still think Columbus wants to get something out of it, maybe a mid pick and a B/C prospect.

Unless it’s Mr. Future Considerations, or some kind of salary dump no thanks. I wouldn’t send any draft picks, or players on deals that expire at the end of the 24/25 season, they’ll be worth way more at the next deadline. |

He’d be a good fit in Toronto, especially after they dump those bums Tavares and Marner. |

Bears even things up once again. 3-2 final.
Plus note Wright and Evans with goals and Studenick a pair of assists. |

Bears take a 3-2 series lead with a win by the sane score. Firebirds got goals from Lind and Winterton.
Need a bounce back game monday

Laine’s cap hit & flakey attitude makes him cheaper than before.
Worth taking a flyer on if can grind out a cheap offer. Change of scenery & losing in CBJ could reinvent him in Seattle. Injuries & missed games oughta be considered & keep the price down. |

Season done. Hershey again beats Coachella for the Calder 5-4 in OT. Ouch.
Winterton with a pair, Studenic, and Cale Fleury scored but back to back bridesmaids |
