The Montreal Canadiens had chosen their projected future number one centre with the 18th pick overall of the 2009 NHL Draft. In my chair, it was hard to hide my disappointment that Trevor Timmins and crew had chosen to leave Chris Kreider on the draft board, in favor of a homegrown talent from Kirkland, QC. I had been told by a trusted NHL amateur scouting contact the he felt the "Bust Alarm Meter" was on high for Leblanc in his opinion.

It was another good day but my colleagues were shaken by the death of a resident so that got to me a little to see them like that. But the days go fast which is a good thing. But the evenings as well and I dont know how I feel about that.
