Damn too bad we couldn’t close but a point is more than I expected it of that game. I’ll take it.

Hard to tell from watching the replay on YouTube. Did Sanhiem get tripped in OT ? Announcer's were saying the Flyers bench was up and yelling at Refs.

That was terrible backchecking on the OT goal.

Sounds like Torts at least tried to win in OT instead of playing for the shootout, that's progress.

Didn't see Jett's name in the recap, how'd he do?

The reason that Brink was able to score off of ekholm's skate was because Jett was driving at the net. It was a smart play by the kid

I felt like he played very well and I will say this, to me, the team looks better when he's in the lineup (pp etc) so that counts for something.

I only watched the first two periods, but we had several chances that we didn't cash on and that's why we lost out on 2 pts. Regardless, if we can get a win in Seattle, that's a solid road trip.

Luchanko had a decent game. Thought he was better in Vancouver, though. Didn't have a point on the Brink goal but took Ekholm to the net and it played directly into the goal.

Tortorella was playing Luchanko a lot in the 3rd period. In part because Couturier sat for 5 on a fighting major but he also was using JL and Poehling (who did not have a good game) a lot in the final five minutes.

Is anyone going to bring up Couturier's just under 10 minutes of TOI? Oh, someone just did, talk amongst yourselves.

Just watched the highlight of the OT goal. Sanheim may have been tripped but whatever. You're right, someone should have had the trailer.. Poor sam. Stops mcjesus on a breakaway and then drai is left all alone.

I didn't see it, but bill mentioned the fight so that may have limited his ice time a bit. Regardless, he's seemed slow and absolutely no offensive threat at all so far this year.
