Pouty's never been the issue... it's DeBrusk we should be concerned about.

Fully agree. Guy signs a 7 year contract and has less goals than an undrafted rookie? Let's run this disappearing act out of town! |

Thanks Yorky.
RT’s comments about Sprong being a star of the game; and, how he’s had a great attitude, sitting out to work on his game as they knew he needed, reveals he’s not in any dog house. Looks like the process will keep him in the line up.
Plus RT’s comments on Bannstrom being fiesty and probably needs more minutes could see him staying as a starter. Early days but could be an impact player as a PMD beyond QH & Hronek. That could be quite the story for a salary dumped throw in player on the Poolman cap dump trade. |

All-in-all, happy for the win. Not a great third period though, seems like they're consistently taking their foot off the gas, not a good habit to get into.
By Thanksgiving the cream usually rises to the top, the Canucks are seemingly on their way. They have a couple games in hand on the teams above them. Calgary and their extremely ugly uniforms should start to sink sooner than later. |

lol that was Pouty's 2nd goal at 5/5 since last March...
But yes Debrusk will be a whipping boy if he doesn't score soon lol
Nice goal for Petey however hopefully gets him off the Schneider. |

Also seems like they're starting without their foot on the gas. Two things they can correct pretty easily. Should be a fuller effort Monday |

We can only hope they fall to a bottom 5 team. Rasmus Andersson with his 4th, he’d look good on the Canuck blueline. |

Another Swede is not what this club needs. |

Ya - ya...clearly I was referring to the U.S. version. The benchmark for NHL playoff contention. God bless the USA!!
"American Thanksgiving is always a key benchmark in the NHL season. About 75 percent of teams in a playoff spot on that date end up qualifying come the spring."

By then, the Canucks will have played 8 games against last seasons playoff teams. Currently, they have had 2 games against playoff teams, tomorrow will be game 3. |

Thanks for the write up NYN.
That shot by Petey was wicked.
Pretty sweet to have all 4 lines contribute.
That 3rd line of Heinan, Blueger and Sherwood is fun to watch.
It's like they're the 2024 version of Joshua-Blueger-Garland.
Makes you wonder where Dak will line up when he's fully healthy.
I suggested in the offseason that i'd like to see Petey between Garland and Joshua but was told that's foolish...we shall see.

I was a joke to lighten the mood. It was more of a commentary on fans overreaction to everything canucks. Now that he scored, our scorn is now focused on someone else.

Ahh gotcha. Seriously though, debrusk has to get going. We can’t have two highly paid players not contributing.
I suppose it’s a positive we keep winning with so many players underperforming and two significant injuries. Nice to have depth for the first time in 13 years |
