I was thinking about which Flyers players have shown chemistry with other Flyers still on the roster, and for more than a few games at some point over the last few years:

Konecny-Couturier-Michkov
Cates-Frost-Tippett
Foerster-xxxxx-Brink
Cates-Poehling-Hathaway

Yes, I know Cates is listed twice. Can't think of anyone for Farabee or Laughton.

Sanheim-York
Andrae-Ristolainen
Seeler-Zamula

Nothing for Drysdale.

Michkov has had some chemistry with TK.

TK and Laughton have some PK chemy as they seem to know where each other is on the ice.

I think Frost and Tippett have shown chemistry in the past but they've both been disappointing thus far. I say you glue them together and make them figure it out (unless a Frost move is imminent)

yesterday the broadcast brought up Risto and Andrea - will have to see more of them but it would be nice to find another "set it and forget it" pairing like last years Seeler-Walker.

I'm also not against leaving Poehling-Cates-Hathaway alone.

While I think a line of Forester-Laughton-Brink could be ok, that sort of puts Farabee with Frost and Tippett. And while the slotting feels right (Farabee on a 2nd line is totally justifiable) I think that could be a disaster line. 3 of the seemingly dumbest players on a line together having them out together instills zero confidence for me.

Agree completely, I was thinking more about what moves GMDB should be looking to make, and who would be most expendable.

Yeah, yeah, they should be tanking but that’s not going to happen so I’m not going to keep whining about it.

no selling. need to bolster the lineup to show the commitment to winning. that's what will attract future free agents. will make players want to come back to philly.  need to accelerate the rebuild. performance on the ice dictates how the rebuild goes. 

Team no matter what they do I still hate them. Haha

Haha. I’ll get in on the sarcasm fun too.. I think if we really are committed to a rebuild, why don’t we trade michkov. Hes too old to fit the window of a real rebuild. He’d bring back a big haul of young players (which we could then trade for minor league vet players) and this would ensure a proper 10 year rebuild is completed guaranteeing a cup at the end. 👍. Haha.

Dan of the people Hilferty must’ve been getting bombarded by adoring fans on the streets this Thanksgiving. Impressive run by the boys this month. Right back in it.

I only hope that this keeps up. Bigly entertaining.

With such a lack of center depth on the team and in the organization, the team clearly needs to rebuild through the draft. Unless they enjoy that middle ground status, forever.

As we all learned even 2 overall picks don't necessarily work out

If the Flyers were smart, they'd view the drafting of Michkov as the start of the rebuild. In reality, they view it part of the end game

Latest power rankings from The Hockey News has the Flyers currently ranked 19th and listed as a playoff hopeful (before yesterday's game). Right in the mushy middle...let the incessant whining commence.

I personally don't think that winning the Cup is the benchmark and I have been consistent on that. I'd say it's been about 12 years since the Flyers have been a true contender.
