At least with the win we don't have to deal with the TML fans posting on here about Dubas.

Third pairing, or maybe specifically being the offensive defenseman of a pair instead of covering for Letang or Karlsson, seems like a better fit for Gryz.

Also, St. Ivany is out week to week, so will be a while until we see him again even if there's an injury.

Well trading DOC makes the roster instantly better because there isn’t a more worthless player in the entire league.

Gryz should sit on the bench till the PP starts. He seems pretty good at that. Or he needs a Petterson.

Starting to look like the tanking is about to commence for a lot of teams.

Detroit, Buffalo and Nashville all had intentions of competing for the playoffs this season but are all on 5 game or greater losing streaks and clearly not going to turn it around. Philly, while being in a playoff spot for much of the season to date came out and said that no matter where they are at, they will be sellers.

Adams in Buffalo signed his death warrant by saying no one wants to play in Buffalo, wonder if he is ready to go all out and make a big move? He definitely won't be there by the time the draft rolls around.

Feels like unless Dubas decides to start selling in a big way, we are damned to be the team that just misses the playoffs again and miss out on a good pick. On the flip side, we could be one or two shrewd moves from being able to take advantage of the Rangers turmoil and sneak into the playoffs.

Maybe graves was secretly dubas’ forced tank plan. We need him in the lineup. Martone is slipping away.

Jagr:

They want Jagr to be an official part of the organization---in any role he wants, player dev, front office, etc. Whatever he's open to, they want him around the team.

Hoglander:

They do like him, but keep in mind he's fallen out of favor with Tocc. They respect Tocc's opinion and would certainly ask him about Hog before making a move.

Jarry:

They are happy with how Jarry is trending. They were also happy with how hard he worked over the summer, but not his play to start the year. They're hoping he's found his form and they are pleased with him atm.

Pickering:

They are shocked with how fast he's improved. They also love him off the ice. Yohe says his personality is magnetic.

Yes:

Yohe doesn't understand why Yes is out of the lineup this much, but also says given that it's still just 18 months from that major surgery, they never planned on playing him close to 82 games this year. They want him to build back up his body and make sure he can handle the workload first.

McG:

They like how he's trending but think he needs the full season in the A before coming up full time.

Stevens:

Yohe tells a story that the reason EJ traded for Stevens before he ever played an NHL game was that Bobby Orr saw Artie play and called him and told him how impressed he was. Great story!

Agreed, if it's possible to make the playoffs, I want to see Sid in the playoffs again ... but if we get close to the TDL and they clearly aren't making it, then the practical option is to tank.

So we shouldn't talk about trading players like DOC as a rental. Got it.

Thanks for this. I'm guessing Yes is Puljujarvi. I think he just lost his top nine spot to Tomasino and he's not a penalty killer so they didn't have a spot for him. Had they lost a PKer instead of Tomasino, I'm sure Nieto would have been back in rather than Puljujarvi.

If/when DOC is traded, I guarantee it will be Nieto who gets a lineup spot rather than some prospect, unless it's Poulin or someone like Ponomarov kills penalties. DOC and Lizotte in the top nine gives them one fourth line spot that isn't a main PKer and that's Hayes.
