How can any forward in that lineup respect anything a coach says to them when O’Connor is getting bumped up the lineup. It’s a joke, at this point you just start trying to hurt him in practice. |

I get what they are doing, but I would rather see Puljujarvi or Hayes with Malkin. |

Geno should be insulted by the whole DOC thing. Sucks for him still being stuck having to carry guys like that around.
Tarasenko isnt doing anything in Detroit, why not figure out a trade and get a little Russian connection going there? Apparently we tried to sign him in the offseason. With the Wings falling out, Tarasenko for Hayes and a 3rd doesnt seem unreasonable. |

Not a great start for him for sure. Hopefully he can pick it up. |

I hope he turns pro next year. With Pickering already a top four for us, he's got a clear path to big AHL minutes and bottom pair NHL as soon as he's ready. |

I am hoping so as well. I it is nice for us as a team to have multiple young players who may make this team in the next few season. They may not be huge roles, but it is a lot better than what we had.

They’re severely lacking young high-end talent. Desperately need hit the lottery on some late round picks and make sure they don’t miss when they inevitably pick in the top 10 |

I'll agree with this. They don't seem like they have the next stars of the team. Potentially several players for when they do get those high picks. |

All we need are two centres and a dman. McKenna, DuPont, and ? The year after. The rest is starting to take care of itself. |

Shame we couldnt get Perreault out of the Rangers when trading Jake. He's looked good so far. |

That's a good list, a PP QB type since they have Pickering and Brunicke. Not sure we have a top tier wing either. Basically PP 1 types, though I'd take a strong two way center. |

When we pick top 5 I think that’s where we need our centres. I feel there’s a lot higher of a chance of stronger wingers later in the 1st and 2nd rounds, as well as trades. Legit top line centers seem to be the players that don’t leave teams often. |

I agree that's the priority. Not sure if we'll pick top five. We'll see where we land and who's available. |

I wouldn’t challenge that. Jarry needs to reclaim his spot in the crease.
Wow. He definitely had time to get back |

We gave up the first goal on the first shot without it Counting it. Best case scenario since he usually settles in after the first shot goes in |
