Have to agree. Hes having quite an unlucky year. Since we are not trying to win anything we might as well shut him down and run with the Russian duo. He hasnt been the same since his first injury this season

What's his injury? Kind of weird, to me, to call for shutting him down for the rest of the season without knowing what the problem is.

Sam hasn’t shown he is a number 1 goalie. Either in LHV or with the Flyers. He has shown maybe he can be a solid/good backup.

The Kolosov to Bob comparisons are lazy to me. Don’t seem all that similar to me. No harm in giving him the ball and let him and Ivan battle it out.

Keeping Ivan on the bench the last few weeks didn’t do him any favors. He should have been sent to LHV to get some games.

Flyers have a goalie problem now and the foreseeable future.

They shouldn't shut him down for the season unless the injury calls for it. Make sure whatever it is is healed and err on the side of caution. Then when he's ready to play, he should play.

If it's something surgery only will correct, them perhaps. Otherwise, rehab and return. Kolosov should get a nice share of starts regardless.

Exactly.
How can you possibly call for shutting a player down when you have no idea what the injury actually is and the severity of the unidentified injury?

Can someone please find a blogger to cover the team? Eklund is insufferable.

I just hope Ersson is not trending towards a Michael Neurvith career. If it is the groin or hip area again, rest and rehab have not fixed the issue so far.

At this point, I would be surprised to see him before the 4 Nations Tournament.

They’ll rest him and label him day to day and then a month after the season in which he remains shelved, the Flyers will announce that he’s having surgery in June.

Many here would not like my take on the team’s current management as the decade plus of futility soldiers on into a 2nd decade of futility.

Even if they win it won't change the fact the flyers are not a good team. though the fans will be ecstatic while the 3 stooges puff their chest.

Winning or losing this game should not matter in grand scheme of things. Let’s hope that the upper brass is using each game as a measuring stick as what to keep or let go in the building process.

That's what I am hoping for, the only problem I see or potential problem is the Flyers management over values it's players.

Like example No clue if true but rumor was they got offered a 1st for laughs, if that's true you deal him. I don't care what he offers in the dressing room, trading a 4 line player for a 1st need to be done regardless of how great a person he is.
