Caufield is a turnover machine and he doesn't even have a 50ft game, let alone a 200ft game. Go to a Habs game and watch how many times he gives up the puck, loses battles (if he even goes to the wall), and how many conversations he has on the bench with the coaches.
Playing against such high end talent on the other teams....Caufield would kill team USA's chances, it's just too much of a risk with him on the ice. There are several other guys ahead of him.
This is a pretty bad take on a player that has limited defensive ability and a big smile. Oh yeah, he's also like 5'6"...no thanks. |
