I think that's a little extreme. The east teams are weak - Also CBJ is on pace for less than 87 points.

There's 41 games left. Last few years to make playoffs:

2024: WSH beats out DET with 91 points tied (32 RW vs 27)
2023: FLA beats out PIT with 92 points vs 91 for PIT
2022: WSH MASSIVELY beats out NYI 100 points vs 84

Therefore it is like the Sens need to get about about 49-50 points in remaining 41 games. That would mean something like a 22-14-5 record. That's a lot to ask but they have some room to loose some games - NOT against BOS, CBJ, MTL, PIT
