Evason can't pair Severson & Provorov together. That will be disasterous. Split up Z and Fabbro with Severson & Provorov until we get Mateychuk back.

Seems like an overpayment for Toronto no? I don't think Vancouver would be able to get Reilly & Kampf straight up for Miller at this point.

Well Rielly isn't having a great year and his contract is not perfect either.

I think it's a deal that works for all 3 teams. Rielly, Miller and Jenner all "go home" and each team fills an area of need.

Miller gives CBJ a 90-100 point veteran player which they really need after losing Gaudreau to that tragic accident. Rielly gives the Canucks help on D and brings a hometown face in. And Jenner gives the Leafs a two-way C to help for the playoffs. Severson helps the Leafs too because they need a RHD even though his contract is not the best. Kampf and Robertson are really just helping balance the salary cap and are extra pieces to the puzzle.

He's a hometown guy and CBJ have plenty of cap space for him especially if Jenner and Severson are going the other way. I think it works nicely for all 3 teams even though it's not perfect for all either.

While Miller is from Ohio; Jenner used to come up in talks before Waddell as Jenner would be an excellent Maple Leafs’ forward for the middle six. With that said, Severson would be a cap dump. A section of the fanbase don’t want him here or Merzlikins based on performance and salary. Vancouver would need more and they want a center back. Reilly wouldn’t cut it for them, despite the undercurrent developing of Reilly’s gas tank or potential demotion to the second or third pair looming. It’s definitely a starting point like Zibanejad was for Rangers.
