If this team plays tonight, like they did in Ottawa... a "W" for sure. (IF) they play that way the rest of the season, they'll be in...... |

I don’t know how many games we can count where there were 49 shots and 1 goal. The suck is taking an “L” on that effort. I’ve never been in a pro room, but yeah they need to replicate that and for whatever reason, if Kane and Debrincat look like they’re having fun it’s a good game |

Soderblom is skating on the top line again. I'm guessing McClelland is giving him an audition with Larkin and Raymond since the team is in a total funk right now.
Rasmussen is once again playing center which is not good. He plays so much better on the wing. Need to keep him there. Playing wing is the only way to get ANY offense out of him. |

Agree on both. I also think Larkin and Raymond are banged up and there’s an appetite for Soderblom to step in. I’ve seen him be physical but I don’t think that’s the best spot for him. Agree 100% on Ras. He’s also still “rung” from that hit. He isn’t right. The worst concussion I had took about a month for the “fog” to lift a bit. I think Zegras got him in a bad spot and putting more responsibility on him isn’t a great look. Would still like to see Lombardi come up. |

His interview was funny. Someone had a helmet from his collection of Wings lids, he tracked it down and will have it soon |

It sounds like there is a plan to get top prospect Axel Sandin-Pellikka over to North America as soon as his season with Skelleftea is wrapped up. He could even make his Red Wings debut as early as this season, we’ll just have to see how the chips fall with ASP’s team. It’s great news either way. Having ASP on this side of the pond is another big step forward for Steve Yzerman’s rebuild, or whatever you’re calling it nowadays. |

When Mrazek was in Detroit before, the big game winning save too often alluded him.
Thus he was traded.
That fault seemed to resurface wherever he played.
His Achilles heel in Detroit was always high glove side . He arguably played his best hockey in Chicago on an extremely bad team.
Let’s see how he looks against Buffalo Wednesday night. Good Luck Petr.
High glove side anyone ??? |

Yeah, I mentioned the quote. Yzerman is letting their season play out. Once the team is done he has the option. That would also open (potentially) an option for Brandsegg-nygaard. Also have to keep an eye on Augustine to see if he goes pro after the season. ASP is, by far, the most intriguing name. But, if they make a deep playoff run not sure how that plays out. Love watching that kid play. Apparently Sweden had some rinks built to North American specs and some of the prospects will practice on those. Good step forward in closing that gap (pun not intended but what the heck) |

Bergeron should be playing. I like Shine but he is not close to Bergeron if anything shine in motte out. Also how does Holl and Gus keep playing they try but are awful. Tuomisto should be playing as he is probably a big upgrade on both of them. Yzerman drafting is A. But his management of players, trades etc F. |
