Ersson is a good goalie, but he's not a true #1 starter. He would be a good back up goalie. I have zero faith in our two Russian goalies. |

Might want to do a job review on the current goaltending coach who has been here for 10 years. How good of a job has he done? Is he a Mitch Korn level coach or the Rocky Thompson of goaltending coaches? League is littered with former Flyers goalies who play better after they leave. Makes me wonder if it a talent issue in goal for the Flyers or something else. |

Over the next several days we will be disgusting what the Flyers need to address the most in the summer….via free agency or trade.
Yup, that's how I'd sum it up too. |

If Kolosov had gone to Lehigh and worked on his game all year I would have been comfortable bringing him in next year as the Backup and moving Fedotov to become the new Cal Peterson. As it is I feel he has burned a whole year of his development and I don't care what they do with him.
Solution. Fedotov and Bjarnason can take on Lehigh Phantoms and split starts. Errson can tandem with whatever average Goalie Danny can sign. Kolosov can go back to the KHL like he wanted. End, we are all just waiting another 2 years (after this one) for Zavragin. |

The Flyers are at 100% fault for not having Kolospv in LHV. |

As long as ready for the playoffs no worries. He is the type of player built for the playoffs. |

Yes most Playoff teams have defenseman his size, the team that don't do not go far in the playoffs

They should change the coach and keep the goaltenders. Looks like the 2026 draft might be better than the 2025. On the Nasty Knuckles podcast, Mark Greig the Flyers WHL scout said the 2025 draft is average and he doesn’t think there are any 1Cs in it.
Having a new coach but still sucking would be the best for everyone next year.
Tanking would be the smartest decision because there won’t be too many teams trying to do it even with McKenna there. The majority of awful teams this year have been awful for so long they can’t openly tank. |

Both goalies are already signed. Why would i use assets or money on another goalie. Only way i get a new goalie is if I trade one for one but I am not taking on a significant contract or money for a goalie that is probably not part of the future. Also since the Flyers have 3 1st this year and 4 2nds, I would bet they take a goalie early with one of those picks, Joshua Ravensbergen or Alexi Medvedev. |

Agree. And just why would you use money or assets on a goalie at this point. You have two signed and Kosolov in AHL. Just let it play out. Take a goalie in the draft. Maybe try to move a late first or early second this year and grab another 1st rounder in 2026.
Point being it would be stupid to waste money or assets to get a goalie from outside the organization.

Funny about the draft from their own scout after they hyped it up as franchise changing.
I am torn on what to do with the goaltender next season. It is beyond bad and needs to be addressed. One reason being it isn’t fair to those other players to have such poor goaltending. Other hand is yes better for a higher pick. Had the Flyers taken a more proper approach they wouldn’t need to necessarily get that higher pick in 26. |

That’s fair but McKenna himself is worth another awful year let alone anyone behind him. |

I wanted them to tank and they are tanking now so I can’t complain even if it’s by accident and a year late. Hopefully they do it for one more year and they might by accident again. |

There are some FA options for goalies this summer, and I do think the Flyers need to dive in. Ersson is a good backup but clearly he is proven he is not a started. Fedotov has his moments but unlike larger goalies like Ottinger and Vasey, he doesn't command his body well and gives up too many soft goals. I don't see this improving. Kolosov to me has the most upside right now, but he has to be willing to develop in the AHL. I wouldn't mind the Flyers trying to sign Adin Hill on a 2 year deal if the money makes sense. |

They are not tanking. They are showing their true colors that they are not a good team.
They are where they are at because of incompetence. Don’t see them trying to not improve big time this off season. If they fail once again it will not be by design. |

Fedotov does not keep his stick on the ice. I noticed this at once with him and knew it was going to lead to goals against. Have seen it frequently in recent games. Stick on the ICE! |

Jarry and a 1st for Fedotov.
Would either team entertain it? |
