I don't see marner joining the bruins

He is much more likely to sign the shambling corpse of John Tavares and play him at 1C.

Sadly I think you’re right. Reuniting for the fairy tale ending rarely (if ever) happens. The only name I can come up with that pulled off this kind of situation is Tomas Plekanec. And not to sh!t on him, because he was a decent player, but he’s nowhere near the level of a Marchand.

Biggest concern going forward is Swayman. With Lindholm if he doesn’t turn out to be the 70 point solid 2 way center it will hurt but won’t be devastating. If Swayman is a 8.5 million / 8 yr mediocre goaltender that is a different story. You can see even this year a top Swayman it’s playoffs and a whole different look .
