Thanks for the support Red; it would be nice to see the Devils in the 2nd round!

Man, what little I saw of the game was really ugly for the Flyers. What happened to the team that was in the CBJ's spot last year?

They hammered Columbus in Game 1 this season if I remember correctly, but there was nothing there offensively last night. But then, maybe the CBJ's play made them look bad.

Thanks for the travelog on your trip Zak, sounds like an arena that needs some upgrades and a better team. Did Gritty do a good job last night, or was he sent to Hershey for the playoffs?

Jackets really went above and beyond all expectations this year; the heart and passion is in this room. Bigger questions remain. Provorov, Voronkov, and Tarasov to start.

The arena mainly had traffic and parking lot and some concourse food and beverage issues, but between the Phillies playing and lack of interest in a non-playoff team combined with colder than usual temperatures, I could see how there may have been some last minute call offs

All-in-all it was a good season for the Blue Jackets, although a disappointing end. They made huge strides this year with a 20+ point improvement as a team.

Some players really stepped up this year, Werenski had his best year as an NHL'er and should be a finalist for the Norris Trophy. Marchenko, Johnson, Fantilli, Voronkov, Olivier, all had outstanding years!! Monahan was good, when he played, but that was expected with his injury history.

On a downside, Cole Sillinger disappointed, in his 4th season he really hasn't made any progress towards getting better offensively.

Expectations just went up for this organization.

I agree with most of the posts here, and this one especially, except I thought they would make the playoffs after the game at the 'Shoe, and I am very disappointed they did not make it. I said on this site two weeks ago the team was out of the race, and sadly I was right.

The team needs at least one new goalie next year.
