Tampa has come out and said he’s not going anywhere.

He is also not a free agent. He is under contract for the 25-26 season, at least that's what the ESPN article says.

Coop is not going to Philly. Utah maybe but not Philadelphia. I think he coaches 1 more year in Tampa and moves on. Their play was uninspiring against the Panthers and I think the chemistry has wore off of the Lightning.

Yes, and I really wish that LA didn't choke against the Oil. They had them on the ropes and let them off the hook or the Flyers would have had another pick in the first round that would be higher than expected. Me thinks that the GM/owner is gonna be takin some heat after tonight's game. Those players were NOT happy when Rantanen (I think he had the hatty and an assist) was traded and now they have egg all over their faces. He single handedly knocked the Avs out of the playoffs.

Edmonton has to now play Vegas as the lower seed. The Oilers goalie situation and defense are huge question marks so it’s still very possible they get bounced early. It’s good to see the Avs go out in the first round. That should mean their pick is right around 20.

Nope, it's Edmonton vs Vegas, Dallas vs whoever wins between StL and the Jets.

The first round is wildcard play. The second round is divisional. The third round is division vs division, and fourth round is east vs west.

I expect Vegas to beat the Oilers. They have so much offensive strength, depth everywhere in the lineup.

I think they should go back to 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, etc. Finishing with a record like Colorado, and having to face the Stars first round..that should have been conference finals, not first round. It's a shame to see Mckinnon and Kucherov out in the first round. I am not really a fan of how the playoffs are done these days. Finishing at the top of the conference used to get you rewarded with a lower seeded team. Now first rounds can be 2 100+ point teams facing off.

EDM offense is too potent though. They can easily compensate for the lack of D and goaltending. EDM seems like a favourite to me
