When they take stupid penalties or take their foot off the gas they are very beatable, and while Skinner has not saved them from a game they deserved to lose in this playoffs, he hasn’t cost them a game they otherwise should have won. Read more, post less. Of course any team can beat them when the Oilers play stupid or lazy, but so far in this playoffs , nobody has matched up with them when they are playing to their full capabilities. They haven’t lost a game where they played great, the other team was just better .

The one thing that could stop the Cats is injuries. Apparently Reinhart is dealing with a knee injury and now Mikkola may have a shoulder issue.

you're still stuck judging him for 2 games in april in the first round when the entire team was trash coming back from injuries. Since those 2 games he has a .944, now Skinner is a .902 and Oettinger is a .906 and it will be swapped after the next game.

He can win it. It’s a team game and the squad in front of him will give the team a chance to win each night, and he will play some good games and perhaps have a few bad games like any other good goalie. This is the oilers year.
