The only advantage I see in this would be the challenge of taking a team like Penn State, who hasn’t won much at the NCAA level I think and taking them to a national championship. I’m not sure what the competition level is between the CHL and the NCAA But I would think the CHL is a little higher.

Enjoy it while it lasts, because the courts and the NCAA have lit the fuse on a time bomb that will destroy college sports in a few years.

It will be a sad day when the Big House at UM will be hosting intermurals and D3 FB games in the future, but that's what's going to be left of college sports soon. D1 anything will be gone in less that ten years.

If it is replaced, it will be replaced by what European soccer teams have for, in essence, their 'farm/development system'. And only a few elites will play big time sports, and many more kids will be left out of their favorite sports than they are now.

How sad.
