Ek, two legit questions I'm curious about:

1. You said a few blogs ago that the current version of the sit is over 15 years old. However, when the site was down for over a week, last year, you said it was for upgrades...so was the site upgraded last year, or is it 15 years old?

2. What were the upgrades that were added when the site was down?

i doubt that any team would pick Reilly up on waivers. no value at that contract number

Pagnotta said it was “believed” that they asked him where he was at with his NMC. Kyper is just tagging on to that. No one is reporting that they for sure asked him to waive.

If I upgrade my 15 year old house with a new roof, it’s still a 15 year old house.

I can see Morgan being an effective player on a hungry team, he's like a cherry on top type of player. The Predators, the Hurricanes, The Wild, and the Jets have the room and are in need of that player to drive energy and offense. He is still a good rush defensemen, is tenacious and has the awareness to keep plays alive and create something out of nothing. His shot is deceptive and his passes are crisp. He's fit and can munch quality minutes and feed energetic forwards. Picks will have to be part of the package as well as a younger project offensive defensemen and a roster player.

I was curious too. The user experience after the site was shutdown seemed exactly the same. But perhaps the upgrades were operational rather than anything we as customers could see. Still might been nice to explain to customers what was upgraded.

I'm looking forward to the new site. Hoping the hockey draft comes back. Buzztron forecasted standings also were cancelled. Hope that returns too. A small upgrade would be to replace the Arizona Coyotes logo as well.

Dang, well if he is willing to move on and waive the clause I am all for it. Reminds me of Kaberle really where he gives as much as he hurts you. IF we move him out gonna need a defence back though or else we just trade him for a forward we end up with a hole on the back end. I do think it is overdue and time to move on from him. Woulda done it a few years ago actually.

So really who has and could use him and who can give up a d and or forward in a deal for him ( if it was expanded for a few players, tossing in say Robertson and or Jarnkrok?)

I agree with your assessment!
The predators, the hurricanes, the wild, and the jets, would all benefit from Morgan, and they have projects the leafs development team can work with and cap space. its a big contract.
