Yep sure. The second mcdavid came out in support of hart on team all that goes away. Imagine that a not guilty human. Why not put the narrative out that if you’re not guilty you can live a normal life. With every save and every win the fans would stand up and cheer louder and louder.

Which brings us to your point of hart is a very good goalie
And they need a goalie.

They found not guilty. That means they are not guilty. They ought to sue the living hell out of her and make her pay missed back salary. Every single one of those guys should be reinstated in the NHL with an apology.

Hart deserves a chance. Poor choice as a kid, not found guilty of anything except bad judgement. His career was already uprooted give the kid a chance he had some great talent and was one of the most giving to the community members I’ve seen. Long before the circus started

Jesus. It wasn’t made up. They were not convicted because it’s very difficult to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. It wasn’t “a made up case”. He should be reinstated but you’re being a complete idiot.

I hope they do sign him. He’s worse than Skinner.

Do you know what's a bigger media circus? Being asked daily about whether Skinner can win a Cup. You sign Hart on a 1-year show me deal. If he fails you walk away and find another solution. The kid was 18. Made a bad choice but he was found not guilty and deserves another chance at life.

Who cares if they are criminally culpable? They are pervert weirdo circle-jerker gangbangers. Old enough not to act like deviants and alcohol is no excuse.

Of course they should be allowed to play because they have been convicted of zero crimes. In a world with morals and ethics, they'd be begging for a job and not finding any takers. In this world where all that matters is money, their agents' phones will be ringing off the hook.

I wouldn't let any of these weirdo perverts near my daughter.

Sounds like they’d fit right in with the Oilers.

The players should be reinstated once the period (1 month) of a potential retrial passes. I won't comment on their morals/ethics. That is for potential employers (teams) to decide. But if I was advising these 5 guys, no way would they play for any Canadian team. The media circus in Canada is not worth it. However, buried in the US on teams like St. Louis, Dallas, Carolina, etc ..... the media exposure would be much less. Let's also face facts, after 1 to 2 years of missed time, maybe only 2-3 of these players are good enough to at least get a shot in the AHL to start and play their way into NHL game shape. The rest could go to the European/KHL Leagues.

But I do believe in second chances. That is how our justice system works. Innocent until proven guilty in a COURT of Law (not in the court of public opinion). Having said that, I find what occurred to be distasteful. I feel for the young woman and I hope she is able to move on with her life. And I hope all those supporters of her let her move on and help her only if she desires the help.

Oilers Signed Evander Kane despite the 2 physical abuse scandals. There was some media pushback but all that was silent when it came to 2 SC runs.

Carter Hart found not guilty.

Hart isn't going to give you that much better play than what you have now. If you want to upgrade, then upgrade with a real improvement. If you want to upgrade on a risky player with high upside, try a Demko. Otherwise, maybe just play better defense...just an idea.

Lol.
None of them are innocent by any means. Dumbass.

They proceeded in gangbang activities and will never play in the nhl.

Oh and like this chick has anything worth suing over. Maybe a pair of underwear they’d like to sniff afterwords.

The sad part is this is why real victims of this are not believed, to many shame victims crying wolf !! Not sure she’s totally lying but when they are found to be 💯 lying they need to be made examples of because once a man is labelled it never goes away no matter what, this is a bull shot double standard in this BS society we live in.

Great post. It seems the media has already decided Skinner is not good enough. The only thing that would change their minds is another run with the right outcome. Anything else and he isn't good enough. He did a pretty good job for Edmonton. Losses are never about 1 player. They took a lot of dumb penalties. Bob should have won the MVP for 1 of these cups, because he deserves it. He made the saves, outplayed his opponent. Florida imposed their will at their blue line, turning defense into chances. Edmonton did not find a way around this problem for generating offense from 2 of the "greatest players in the game". I'm tired of hearing they are the greatest. Great players don't get shutout in key playoff games.

That all said, Hart will need more than 1 season to get back into playing shape. Not regular season shape, he can do that quickly. We're talking about playoff shape. If given the opportunity to do that, he has the talent. He dominated weeks at a time when the Flyers D stunk. (Flyers fan here)

I am for re-instating them. They have been suspended quite a long time and the court process has played out. As far as morality clauses in contracts, they were not under NHL contracts when the events they are being accused of occurred.

The Oilers have been the rehab team since MacTavish. Seems like a wasted opportunity to change course now.
