I betcha Sutter gets fired after this game if they lose it. It’s 4-0 in the first period lol. I saw Kadri and him are at odds apparently. Benching I think

Saw some on here trying to take credit for the Penguins demise this season... unless you traded for no one but Granlund, gave Carter a multi-year extension, and gave away Jared McCann, John Marino, etc.... you had nothing to do with it. Hextall was likely a double agent for the Flyers.

Rangers will be a fun team to watch this playoffs. I dont trust NJ given their inexperience and Carolina has too many injuries.

Unlike the capitals the penguins can’t just admit it’s over and rebuild. Watching the post Crosby era will be glorious

it's actually worse that Granlund wasn't a rental than him still being signed for two more years at 5 million a year, Nashville thrilled to get out of that one

I think we realize that it was mostly on Hackstall. But still, it's nice to be here at the end to see you on your way!!

I wonder if Crosby would ever try to go elsewhere. He’s still playing at a really high level. Maybe he’d go to a Canadian team and try to bring the cup back to Canada?

1st, flagged by accident. Sorry.

2nd, Habs. He's from the east coast. They are about 98% Canadiens fans. Except around St. John's, Nfld. where the Maple Leafs farm team used to play.

It just summed up Hextall perfectly. Last offseason, he got all the cap space he could've wanted and he wasted it. Then by some miracle, he frees up more cap space by fixing some of his mistakes, and he gives it to a clown like Granlund.

One of the Penguins radio guys said at the time that Granlund could've been put on waivers and no one would've claimed him. Yet we gave up a second round pick for him.

I doubt it. He isnt a guy that likes changes. The main record he's chasing is 2 more years of 1 PPG average over the season and he'll beat Gretzky's record. I wouldnt be shocked if he hung them up after his current contract expires.

The only realistic team I could see he go to would be Colorado to play with MacKinnon.

With the right moves, I really think it isnt over per say. Are we winning another Cup? Doubtful. But with real goaltending, we would've beat the Rangers last season. The problem is we did nothing but make ourselves worse since then while teams like the Rangers have only gotten better.

Most Penguin fans are at peace with it. We won 3 Cups in this era, saw some unbelievable talent, and for me personally, high school and college were a lot of fun partly due to the penguins. The rebuild will suck, but it is what it is.

Unless Uncle Gary comes through for us and gives us Bedard.

Yeah, he strikes me as a guy who doesn’t like change. But…he’s still a competitor and that desire to lift the cup again can’t be overlooked.

I could see him playing in his 40s. He’s a specimen and truly doesn’t look like he’s losing a step any time soon. Still get nervous when he’s on the ice.

Would be awesome if they had one of those wooden train whistle things play after he laid someone out. Rangers are too classy of an org to do that though.

Other than the Khaira hit in Chicago, all of those were clean. Just amazing that instigator wasn't called more.

One could say that it's amazing the instigator was ever called at all!! Refs seem to think it's too much trouble to call it the way it's written.
