Chiasson has already earned himself another 1-yr contract. He has proved himself to be a more than capable PP net front guy and does well with his 4th line minutes.

I enjoyed watching the team win and would rather see them be productive and NOT tank for just 1 position better in the draft. The wins are more valuable to the yong core.

I totally agree. He is a specialist in an area where we need support and someone to teach that coveted skill Homer did best…

I thought the Wings played well vs STL. Zadina actually showed glimpses of what he could be; great passing lane blocking, threw some really well-placed hits, and was a beast on the fore-check. He just needs to be reassured, I guess. But when I see him play like that, after having been (essentially) a ghost under the Blashill leadership team, I wonder how far behind NHL development he truly is, and what he could become. I like what I saw.

Chaisson was awesome and I hope he stays around another year; he could definitely impart some lessons on the kids, especially Raz..... Sir Magnus of the Twine played one of the best games I've seen him play, Mo Sides was pretty brutal as well.

Games like these reaffirm my faith that whilst there is some pain in our future, there is definitely a cohesive team forming. We're missing some pieces for sure. But this team a whole has some really solid pieces.....
