If we’ve learned anything from how the Hawks have handled Reichel, Nazar probably has a road to climb as well. There seems to be specific things that the team wants to see from players in order to make and stay on the team, and it’s not really point production.

What a big day for the Bears getting the 1st over all pick again.

Be nice if history repeats itself and the Blackhawks do as well.

I think they knew Moore was a project, but one with great breakaway speed.

I am not sure he is even set on a position yet.

There is a need for more consistency overall.

College a perfect place to hone his game without a rush.

There's not a need for an interjection of speed...they have Andreas Athanasiou.

It doesn't hurt for Nazar to not turn pro yet either, but a lot has to do with the rest of his season, physical being, and state of mind, because just because a youngster has success at the junior and college level doesn't mean the bigs is an easy task, and would have to show he is a an invaluable addition right away, not another piece they need immense patience with like they have given Kurachev.

And besides I read on the internet that Vancouver's Elias Pettersson and Toronto's Willy Nylander want to play with Bedard and Soderblom in net and win a Cup...

I agree, but i do believe Nazar does many of the little things that the coaching department already likes. He's not a 1 trick pony
