Injuries are really hurting the 'Hawks this year. Then the Corey Perry loss exacerbated the situation.

Apparently, LR said after this morning's skate that R. Johnson would be sitting this one out (per Bleacher Nation) so Katchouk likely slots in line 4.

By acquiring Bedard the Hawks were able to keep the attendance up this season. But the Bedard novelty won’t be acceptable next season. KFC will not be able to try tanking again. Over the summer the team will be improved, probably incrementally but hopefully enough to challenge for a playoff spot. If not fans who are patient this season won’t be next.

KD won’t need to pay him, Jagr can collect Old Age Security possibly from both the U.S and Czechia.

Agreed. Need established NHL forwards at least some 2-3 middle 6 types. You have 4th line and NHL/AHL tweeners all over this roster.

Since I’m actually watching an entire game and hate commercials…

To follow-up on the Bedard is a jrs player with an elite NHL shoot….

Bedard also has elite nhl hands, elite nhl hockey sense and processing, higher end nhl skating, and elite nhl feet.

Saying he’s a Jr player with an elite nhl shot is an insult to the kid.

Looked like a laid back warm up shot, a pathetically soft goal. Soda was standing upright, hard to believe it got over his shoulder.

Is a defenseman screening a goalie a friend? The coverage was pathetic but you can’t have a defender suddenly jumping in front of the goalie either.
