For San Jose they have two top prospects drafted early round one two different drafts

We will see Eklund tonight

Next season Wil Smith will impact their NHL roster

And the Sharks should have best lottery percentage for #1 overall meaning add Celebrini

I am getting more comfortable with my choice for Blackhawks #1 but so want to see final evaluation on Lindstrom before I finalize my ranking. Celebrini, Lindstrom, Eiserman, one of the dmen
Would you trade O Moore and our second first in ‘24 to move up and draft Paredka (sic) the exceptional offensive talented dman who would supplant Kaiser as third pair offensive dman. Not that KD would even consider this, but is This kid such an impact dman it is worth Moore? I don’t know if I would do this trade

No on trading Moore only wat I would trade Moore us if get the likes of a Brady Tkachuk in which Ottawa would be foolish to trade.

I doubt KFC would trade any of his top prospects before they don the Indian head.

I stopped by the local arena to watch a neighbor’s 14 year old kid’s “AAA” team play a team from Trois Rivieres Quebec. There was a 12 year old with the name Gagnon on the shirt on the TR team who completely dominated the game. This kid could absolutely fly. And his hockey skills and smarts were above all the other players out there. But there was one play that made my jaw drop to the floor. He’s a left shot coming down the left side along the boards. As soon as the defender’s feet turned to the boards to cut him off, this kid changed hand on his stick, cut hard to his right went in on net changed hands again and scored. How he changed hands was so quick and seemless. I’ve never seen a move like it. Anyway the kid scored four of his team’s goals. Maybe KD can try stockpiling 2030 first round draft picks.

I would move Reichel or Korchinski first, but who would want Reichel. KK if KD believes the return is a D man prospect with higher potential.

Only 4 goals?

At that age Gretz and Mario were popping in 6-8 per game before they got bored.

I doubt Davidson would trade Moore in the sort of trade I suggested

I doubt Davidson would trade Moore in the sort of trade I suggested before I posted; I was just musing however if there was any way we could draft two real gems in this draft

I really want to see both Allen and DelMastro make it and perform well. I think we benefit from their style but I believe strongly to have a very good offensive dman among the top six, someone other than KK. While Kaiser could become a descent third pair guy, the scouting report on this Paredyk (sic) sounds so great but alas cannot have everyone you wish

I realize too that Davidson will get what he gets from drafting as primary building blocks, even depth players and middle players like Slaggert. When the time is right Davidson probably would be willing to spend on a top free agent or even a big trade

The biggest concern has to be in goal. Long term top young goaltender is desired. Comesso might be descent but I do not anticipate he has elite ceiling. It is too early to peg Gajan

I feel that sooner or later Bedard will have a top gunner on his line. Who and when is hard to gauge because we just don’t know who is available and who Davidson would take with our first ‘24. Unless we surprisingly draft first overall again then we get Celebrini

Sweet! So is he back to being better than Moore again? People seem to change their mind so fast.

AAA is the top competition for an given age group. So the 12 year old kid was better than the best 14 year olds on either team.

If the Hawks don’t draft #1 overall my choices are:

1. Eiserman
2. Demidov
3. Levshunov
4. D!ckinson
5. Lindstrom

More and more I am thinking that if no Celebrini then Levshunov is going to be the choice. Watching a little more closely tonight and Levshunov seems to always be in position, is calm, and always making the right pass. Will need 2 more years to be really ready and that is just when Murphy's contract is up.

I have been pounding the table for Catton all year but it looks like he is falling in between the top 3 and the Tampa pick, so is not likely headed to CHI.

Nazar has been good on offense tonight, has been good at keeping puck in, some nice passes, and staying in the slot to get good chances. I would still be in favor of bringing him in for next year (would not burn the first year of his ELC this year though). Would try to shelter him a bit at the beginning of next season, maybe at 3RW with Foligno and D!ckinson for the first 20 games or so.

Question to those who watch a lot of jr.s and college hockey. Outside of the college players generally being older, what are the differences between the 2? Is one more physical? Faster?
More offense or defense?
