I think I saw that varly is playing instead of sorokin
Hopefully the devils come out strong and not sleep walk in the 1st and get the lead as the isles will shut things down |

Jack Hughes is an absolute (frank)ing stud.
Great game tbh from start to finish, unlucky bounce at the end of regulation there. Goaltending both ways made that game closer than it should have been. Schmid just needs to be better, but so does the defense in front of him. Some sloppy play here and there but real solid game overall. The PP was money tonight!
Lets hope the Nico injury isnt serious and he's good to go on Tuesday. |

I’m beyond joyous that Jack has developed and blossomed into the very best of what we thought could be possible. Those first 2 years were a little shaky for 1st overall, with the idea of him even being a 2nd line B-level center being a disappointment. But this guy is an A. The fact that guys like McDavid and such exist are the only reason he’s not A+.. and he still hasn’t peaked yet. Kid is relentless and I love it. |

I was expecting a close 1 goal game
Was not expecting it to be 5-4 was thinking more a 3-2 game with the isles playing a strong defensive game and sorokin
Thought Schmid had an ok game makes some very good saves but also thought he gave up a goal or 2 he could have had
Where would the devils be without jack? A 4point game and he makes it look easy even though he was robbed by sorokin |

He's a special young man. His skill, charisma, that Jack smile. He has everything to become some amazing superstar. Jack is to us what Jeter was to Yanks I think. |
