Kevin Weekes mentioned after the 2nd period before going to break that one of the goal scores tonight could be going in a trade. At the time the goal scorers were Toropchenko Kyrou Palmieri & Pageau. Hmm..

Had to stream the game on a bootleg site and screen mirror it so was hard to watch but once again they held the blues to a low shot total and took the load off sorokin. They were also getting a lot of high danger chances for although the blues were on a back to back. The horvat line was good but they got caught in their own end a few times for extended lengths and I believe both goals were against them too.

Love barzal out there at the end and he broke the defenders ankle at the blueline by skating it out instead of just shooting it.......maybe he should be out there more often with the game on the line as he is a top zone exit as well as entey player with possesion in the league.

If Mayfield is out do they go after another defenseman or is bortuzzo the answer in that spot and they go after a forward at the deadline? Lou said they aren't selling so I'm assuming he's at least making a move and that top line doesn't seem like a longterm solution if they make the playoffs. Casey is a good center but not a 3c as we saw on the telegraph pass on the 2 on 1 in the second. That said the 27 44 21 line has been buzzing the last few games Palmieri is up to 19 goals

Also, most 1st round picks don't usually turn into star players. There's a little more certainty at the top of the draft and you see the odd guy selected in the back half of the round turn into a superstar...but just having young, cheap players that can contribute has value all on its own. It frees up money to spend on stars elsewhere instead of having to sign dead weight like Scott Mayfield to stupid contracts to fill those spots.

Agreed, there needs to be a balance. It also comes down to chemistry of the players.

Nhlstreams.net you can watch them all but when you try to enlarge the video the first time it redirects you so you have to click back and then you can enlarge it. Then I screen mirror it so I can at least watch the game

I don’t live in New York anymore so for me to watch games I pay for ESPN+. Why would you get center ice, and not ESPN+? All games are on ESPN+ and it’s pretty easy to use.

Im Assuming that like myself he's in the buffalo market and all isles games are blacked out if the sabrs are home. The center ice stops that so you can hear the home broadcast
