Im sure he has NTC or NMC or something that he could say (frank) ooff to coming here. Also, I doubt the sens are ready to compete which is exactly what a Nelson move would signal so not really sure why they would make that trade. Timing

According to Cap friendly he does not have any trade protection. He is signed for 8.3 x 5, I think. He is a LW which we all know this team needs.

Nelson is a definite asset to any team. I guess the talk lately is shaking things up roster wise. Isles need a little revamp.

Edit : I like the idea that Roy moved him up to LW with Bo and Barzal

After the uncertainty of the bonus tax percentage, why would he want to sign in Vancouver. If they rule that tax loophole is no longer in play it’s going to crush the Canadian teams ability to sign players. Nylander just signed his whopper contract….he’d prob ask to be traded.

I have the NHL package with ESPN, but a few games get away....so I'll be watching the broadcast as relayed from some Lithuanian proxy or whatever.....
Aho is not an upgrade IMO. He's just a different kind of bad.
I don't get to a lot of games up there but watching Aho live definitely increased my reservations about him.

I think I posted a couple years ago after watching Aho play a few games that he was Hickey 2.0. He skates well, provides a little offense, but is simply too small for the NHL. He gets pushed around too often and too easily by the big opposing forwards, especially down low.

man that .ir site was so well put together, the nhlgames app from reddit was amazing for years, didn't have to torrent wins with other teams' broadcasts from the russians but they never cropped out the silence of commercial breaks which made it impossible to use for sleep
