I have seen some big knockouts in my life but what I saw with Tinordi was scary. This is going to set him back, recovering from this may take a long time. Some guys never come back with the same confidence, I wish him well!

Well you never know how it will effect him going forward but that certainly was bad. He should not have been the one settling accounts.

At 6.6 ft and 225lbs, we would expect him to step into these situations in the NHL if needed so. But we also know that big men don't always make good fighters and Pedan was not an easy opponent.

Because he makes $65,000 in the AHL and is trying to make the big club where he will see a major raise.

Not sure dropping the gloves and holding his own would have impressed the Habs. Now that he is injured he is set back.

Tough position, I think he wants to show to management that he is a team player and stands up for them.

His dad suffered knocks on the chin like that too in his day. It is good to have a dad that has been there before to keep your confidence up.

The last way to make the jump is worrying about whether you're making 65 or 6.5. Play the game that got him drafted in the 1st place and keep working. Fighting is one of his assets, every fighter gets cracked now and then. I hope he responds when/if he comes back.

What is the reason why Tinordi is not in the NHL? According to what he has been told it is his foot work. When you are a "blue Chip" prospect" it is not your responsibility to fight career ECHL and AHL goons like he did. It is the reason why management went out and signed guys like Joe Finlay.

Tinordi is there to gain experience, develop, work on foot work and build upper body strength. Fighting like he did and he has everything in the world to lose and absolutely nothing to gain.

i agree with the development part but he's a big rough guy and he's going to have to deal with that AHL goons or not.
