Do you believe that? The story at the time was always holding out for Krebs. We had to take some $ back and Tuch was the only one who really made sense. - Lunaion
I personally don’t believe it. It’s weird that this has suddenly become a thing
Could probably use a top 6 forward, but with the overall prospect depth that might not even be necessary.
Fix that defense and get a veteran goalie.
Weird situation on goaltender though. I believe Levi is as good as he thinks he is, but if he’s not ready for whatever reason, then Sabres are in a bad spot if they don’t have a backup plan. Not sure many decent goalies want to come here knowing the situation.
I've liked Peterka's game the last 10 games more than I have in a while. Beginning of the season he looked good, had a time in the middle where he really struggled, and now he is flying out there and shooting. I want to say against Philly he had like 13 shot attempts. The chemistry with Quinn and Cozens also seems to be apparent, so I am fine with keeping them together as long as it works. I would also be fine seeing Mitts stay up higher in the lineup, I think Granato has really gotten through to him.

Its not happening the plain was always to get Levi a good backup for next year .
This is his net and he already told the organization" bring the best i will win it who ever you bring"
Be excited everything is coming together - gerbe75pts
Hope everything is good with the Family Gerbe's. And Nice to hear that from Levi! Do you have any clue who a Target could be Gerbe's for a Tutor/Backup
Skinner-Thompson-Tuch(C)
Peterka-Cozens(A)-Quinn
Savoie-Mittlestadt-Greenway
Jost-Krebs-Rousek
*Moving on from 28, 21, 71
Dahlin(A)-Samuelson
Power-Free agent/trade*
Johnson-Lyubushkin
Stillman
* This is the only real spot I think they target in the off-season. Unlike forwards there's no backlog and will need to move a guy like Olofsson anyways, makes sense that they make a move here
Levi
Comrie*
* Wouldn't expect them to move Comrie after bringing him in last off-season, but from everything I've heard I can see them shipping off UPL. - Zschalberg
I would bet money that Dahlin is the next captain.
Tuch is the cheerleader of the team, but Dahlin is the one challenging the players to be better during practices, workouts, etc.
Your projected lineup above is another near cap floor, struggle to make the playoffs roster.
They'll try for real when Tuch has 2 years left on his bargain deal?
The NHL doesn't award bonus points or extra wins for winning the cup with the cheapest roster.

If you want to go with Levi next year, you have to upgrade Comrie. Too big of a risk. Risk waivers and Comrie #3 makes a lot of sense. Levi insurance is in order.
