Could be right, I just think Adams and Co. give him 1 more if healthy before he retires. - Buff36
He's going to get games when healthy if they're still in contention.
Andy and Levi are their best goalies. |

I don't. I think last Tuesday was his game if he were healthy.
The few times they asked to start twice in a week, bad things happened. He's the only G with a losing record. Kind of funny after he was on the lucky side record wise last season. - Lunaion
If the Sabres somehow made the playoffs, there's no doubt in my mind that Andy is the game 1 starter |

Anderson has started the season each of the past two years. I would throw a pinkslip down on him starting, especially because Levi is ineligible |

Gets game 1 and 7?
I don't know. At this point, to make it, Levi might have to go 5-0. |

Anderson is their best goalie by nearly every metric. Adams and Granato know that. I think they would run him through the playoffs until the tread falls off.
And if you're Anderson, why wouldn't you agree? This is it. This is the last hurrah.
He's frodo going to the undying lands after this |

They just asked him to play 2 games with only 3 days off in between, he hasn't skated in 2 weeks since. Feels like the tread already fell off.

He had a blowout, but I'm betting that if given the chance to make a run in the playoffs, that old coot is going to kick it up a gear. He'd be my choice 10 times out of 10.
He's 400 years old and still their best non-Levi choice by miles. |

Yes. He was signed after the TDL. Any roster additions after that point via free agency or trade are ineligible to play in the playoffs.

By way of common logic: No way in the world. If the Sabres make the playoffs, Levi would have led us to them and he'll start. |

Nope - he's ineligible for the AHL playoffs due to the NHL contract he signed. He could and would play in the NHL playoffs |

Difference here is that he was on their reserve list.

What are we looking at 3 maybe 4 games for Johnson this year in buffalo? Can he play in Rochester after that? |

If he signs his ATO. I think yes
But if he wants to burn a year. No |

4 games after the finals. Same as Levi, he could sign an ATO with Roch and play in the playoffs. Much more likely that he signs an NHL deal and burns a year, but can't play in the AHL playoffs.

So, if levi gets them in the playoffs at 5 - 1 -1 the Sabres then turn to Anderson?
I think this is Levi's team already. IMO.
He starts game 1 IMO |

I 2nd this statement... I hardly use the microwave anymore.
