Another prospect who doesn't get much attention but has really picked up his game is Kozak. He will never be a huge scorer but he could be a hard nosed 4th line C for you. He's another Dog on the puck. - Buff36
He beat the doors off Tage's brother...going to be an awkward first game together lol. |

I haven't watched Rochacha this year, so not sure how anyone is doing down there really. But the small sample of Kozak at the prospects camp was very intriguing. We need a spark plug type. |

Hopefully they have plans to
-grab a solid G to play 35-ish games
-trade for Power's partner
Those 2 moves are imperatives IMO.

It is also imperative to get another high impact forward, preferably like Tuch, as they really need to round out their quality forward depth.
Especially if they truly expect to contend next season, as expecting more rookies to be added to the roster and have that take care of the forward depth starting next season is asking a lot. |

I’d say they need to acquire a guy like Demko.
Levi is only used to playing about 35 games at a lower level of competition. Throwing him out there for an entire season of 50 games probably isn’t great |

This projected roster is not good enough at forward, and likely wouldn't be the following (24-25) season either.
A nice improvement on defense and in goal, but they need to stop waiting years and years for all prospects to fully bloom, if they even do.

How about this then?
Skinner-Thompson-Tuch
Quinn-Cozens-Peterka
Mitts-Savoie-Greenway
Girgs-Krebs-Okposo
Samuelsson-Dahlin
Power-Joker
Johnson-Lyubushkin
Stillman

And still add a 1a/b goalie to Levi.

Upl / Comrie is a bad idea next year. |

UPL should be included in a trade package for a dman.
He may still have some value due to his age. |

being too young is an easy excuse
if barasso can win the vezina at 19, levi can probably play 50 games at 22
there is no black or white answer |

Hockey has evolved so much since then though. The mental side alone is so much more of a grind now.
With the adaptation of load management I think the days of a goalie playing 60+ are all but over, except on rare occasions. |

Since Jan 1st...
Mitts 3 goals.
Boosh 2 goals.
With Tage out we want to elevate Mitts to 1st line.
Greenway here for a cup of coffee, gets tried on 1st line.
Krebs stuck with 2 boat anchors, and gives it his all, never seeing 1st line.
Discuss.

That line has been consistently solid though at their role.
I don’t get the urgency to move Krebs. They act as the third line and do well. |

Its going to be UPL and Levi next year. They have Comrie under contract and trading for a goalie is near impossible just ask the sabres the last 5 years.
Comrie either gets waived or traded. |

Mitts it's more about the goals, and I am the last to defend him.
Boosh isn't here to score goals
Greenway is still a Head scratcher to me, unless he magically picks his game up. Where does he fit.
Krebs I don't know what to say |

Thats was my point about Mitts...he has 1 less goal than a defensive defensman, and we want to elevate him to the first line.
Krebs, by all accounts, was the "had to have" in the Eichel trade, and gets stuck on a checking line, with not even the chance to move to the first line.
It's confusing.

No one wants to elevate him to the first line so I am not sure where you are getting that from.
Did you know Tage was hurt and thats why he played on the first line? And he filled in admirably and Tage came back so he went back to the third line.
Krebs has 1 assist in his last 5 games and no goals in his last 10 and you want to elevate him to the 1st line. Thats more confusing. |
