The Sabres curb stomped the Rangers the last two times they played them.
Shesterkin stole an OT win the first game, Halak stood tall and got them a point in the second game.
The tale of the Sabres season was getting goalied in big games and their goalies not stealing them a few extra points along the way.

First and last sentence are true.
We have beat some of those teams with that type of effort effort this year.
Redwings have been playing good lately.
One thing I do know is if UPL was in there for the shootout we definitely were losing. |

Yeah there are definitely moves to be made and growth from the teams younger players to hit “Cup Contender” status.
They absolutely could have been a playoff team as early as this season though with better goaltending despite the flaws the team has. |
