Agree and he is signed for 5 or 6 more years at 7.15 mill, you would have more cost certainty on a young player getting better.

Savoie is making the team next year and it wonlt be at an 8-10 minute clip. He'll play 3rd line and play 14-16 minutes. There's absolutely nothing for him to gain going back to Juniors. Now, he has a big summer ahead and needs to add muscle, as does Quinn, Peterka, Kulich, Rousek, Cozens etc.

Thats why I said I think he gets 9 games. Its unfortunate he can't play in the AHL. If I can remember correctly Mitch Marner was in the same situation and they sent him back for another year.

I read somewhere that Savioe might be able to get a waiver for the AHL because of the covid year but haven't looked into it.

Vancouver probably wouldn't do it unless the + was something good. Add a 20 goal scorer and excellent skater with some jam would be a big improvement over VO.

I think Garland is a good fit for this team.

I agree with 2 and 3 (and for 3, I think we need two new dmen unless johnson is the real deal). As for 1, not sure rhe hate for Mittelstadt, he's been our best forward over the last month or so, including 2 assists last night. He may be part of Adam's perceived core??
