Not a fan of Dumoulin but great snag in Yamamoto on a 1yr @ 1.5. Think he is that right age to fit in well there.
Dumo is slow. He does have experience BUT with the game and style the Kraken play not sure he is that great a fit. |

Shane Wright looks good in development camp, granted, he's had a lot of pro experience over the past year, still, he looks good.
Really happy about the additions of Sale, Rehkopf, Dragicevic and Price, (don't know much about Oscar Fisker-Molgaard) along with Wright, and obviously Beniers, there's a nice collection of kids there now. |

Add in Firkkus and Winterton and Evans and some others. There are some great prospects in our pipeline. The one thing I think has been really great has been our drafting and development.
The question here after heavy picks drafts is does Ronnie make a large add using a couple prospects and or picks here? Rumor was making jnwuiries on Karlsson (which would guess means trading Dunn?!) and might make some sense if Toronto shops Nylander. Only thing there is a lot of NTC and M-NTC with our nhl roster. |

I think Seattle got worse in free agency, lost three good depth forwards and a dman to be replaced by Yamamoto and Dumolin, definitely a downgrade imo. |

Connor Carrick added on cheap 2way. Coachella depth move clearly |

Yamamoto scores more than Donato, little less tough. Dumo has more experience but slower than Soucy. I agree here not sure we got better but more experience next to Borgen may not be a bad thing either. Evans likely then isnt being rushed too. Im honestly a bit meh there.
Spronger had a good year and Geekie was good but they also were 4th line. At C you have both McCormick and more importantly Wright to get in. Wright has to show up big cause unless the CHL makes exception he is still O or show. And thats not counting Kartye etc too looking to push in.
Other than that D change, dont think we are worse at all since roster for the most part is pretty much the same. |

I’d say they’re about the same, but if everyone around you is getting better that likely points to a few less W’s and a few more L’s during the season.
Still lots of time before it starts for real, so I’m not worried about how things look right now. |

Yamamoto didn't do much in the Oilers top 6, not sure he'll do much in a 3rd or 4th line role in Seattle.
Geekie put up 28 points in 69 games, good luck finding another 4th liner who can do that.
Wright isn't suited to a 4th line role so if he doesn't crack the top 9 then what.
Idk, just think they lost some solid depth and the defense got worse, we'll see though maybe Francis has some other things cooking. |

I can see the argument on depth. Though we did keep Hayden there. Unfortunately the older guys are going to start to come off their deals. I think we will start to see that one step back/two forward some especially up front in coming seasons.
Geekie is gonna be a hard one to lose I agree. Was a bit surprised that Ronnie didnt try to keep him.
Defence shouldnt change too much. We have Larsson, Oleksiak, and Schultz. Hopefully get Dunn and Borgen signed. IF thats the case then really its Soucy out and Dumo in.
Then again its still early. May be trades or moves before start of the season too. We arent that different or off from last year. |

Have to see. Still need to get Dunn and Borgen locked up. AND deal with Dreidger since pretty sure its gonna be Gru and D'Accord in the crease.
Lots to do and still moves to be made ny RF before season start. |
