Finally, games that matter! Let's hope Vitek gets off to a good start. Very interested to see how Luke looks, because he was incredibly underwhelming in preseason. That 3rd pair could be a problem if he's not rolling.

I haven’t been this excited about a Devils team since 95’.
Unfortunately, Ruff has a love of Smith and watching him drag any partner he is paired with just kills me. Nemec is young, but he’s 10x better than Smith and Miller. Smith&Miller are both slow, always out of position, not physical (although Ruff loves to say smith plays with an edge), and take AWFUL penalties.
I just hope Luke doesn’t suffer due to his clown partner.

The Devils played out of their minds last year, setting franchise records, defying expectations, and reaching a second round playoff. That being said, nothing is guaranteed. If the Devils go out there with the entitled expectation of victory over the Red Wings, they will be disappointed.-Josh
