I enjoy going to games. Sometimes it’s about the other team they play.

Like I saw the Avs earlier this year (and we won) that was awesome.

Went to a Sabres leafs game. Good atmosphere.

And the oilers Sabres game was fun

So it’s not like all the games 100% suck. We have a half season tickets though. Not full

Major flaw in Evan Bouchard's game. Soft and disinterested retrieving/dump ins..I'd dump it to his side all game long and hit him all night. This is lame. Back to back Saturday nights.

My dad stopped watching the Sabres 30 years ago. Used to work for them in the late 70s and 80s as a statistician, ran the message board in the Aud, also. "Goal by Gil, assists from Phil and Bill". That was dad. But he gave up on them and never went back.

Your dad was a lot smarter than the rest of us. He knew the owners would never commit the money and personnel to make this team a Stanley Cup contender. It is very sad, that all this played out 30 years ago and people are still being suckered in to spend a lot of hard earned money to see this team play mediocre hockey. Nothing will ever be done if we keep buying tickets. Well, this is the season that broke me. This ship has sunk and will rest on the bottom for eternity.

Beane has always been great with contracts and resigning players.

It was fun to see them try to climb out of the abyss, and it reaffirmed that they can play well at times...they just didn't have it in them to do what was necessary. Maybe they shouldn't have dug the abyss by coming into the season ready to go.

-they have some good players who perform when things are going well.
-they don't have a leader yet who will pull the team forward by demanding excellence and accountability....that drives inconsistency
-the coaching staff held the team back with horrible decisions and inability to adjust.
- - 26 HDCA vs Canucks (Levi saved there asses while the rest threw up on themselves), 19 HDCA vs Oilers....the team quit on themselves

Overall, the team is flawed in critical areas and I have very little hope the necessa4y changes will be delivered. Although, a new roof is coming!!!!
