Beaner has done more with his roster in the last 2 weeks than Adams has in 4 years. |

Rochester sitting in 15th place….fighting for playoffs, does Adams call any of the young players up, how critical are they on that middle of the road roster?

Beane has always been great with contracts and resigning players.
Just hoping he goes with a WR at 1. I still have hope for that after will Clapp depth signing and the. The Johnson guy from the chargers |

Oh my - Buff36 My mother always said, "If you don't have anything good to say about someone, then just say nothing." I think that is the state of this hockey team.

My dad stopped watching the Sabres 30 years ago. Used to work for them in the late 70s and 80s as a statistician, ran the message board in the Aud, also. "Goal by Gil, assists from Phil and Bill". That was dad. But he gave up on them and never went back. |

Oh, so I dreamt the Sabres being 3 points out of a playoff spot had they beaten Detroit in regulation this past Saturday ?
At this point the argument is moot. But the whole cooked in November thing was a farce.
- Swedish_Jesus
It actually wasn't a farce at all.
In order to become a PO threat, they need to string wins together, and it was very evident early on (Nov/Dec) that what they are is a very inconsitent team...game to game and period to period. They, players and coa he's were absolutely unable to change that, and it was very obvious they wouldn't.
Could they have, yes they could...but most fans saw through the BS this team is from GM, Coaches and players that it was highly improbable they would.
They didn't either. They poop the bed every time the pressure stacked up.
It was a farce to believe they would. |

They dug a hole that required them to play 10 point % better than the wild card teams, something they didn't do in their best month of the season. Nothing wrong with clinging to hope that they can finish with some 80% hockey, there was just no reason to think they could.

What evidence was there to show Nashville had a 16 game point streak in them in Nov/Dec ?
