He's well known for his elite defensive presence too.....

We have had three different coaches and have had the same issues with them all. The team lacks skill and speed and is mentally fragile. Lou is finished and is to blame for the type of players he covets. He better be relieved or retire after this season. I like Roy but he needs to build with his own players before we know what he can do.

Having that piece of chit would have not done a chit bit of good. With all of the power the leafs have. They may play one more game than the isles. The Isles have accomplished more without that piece of chit then with him.

Yeah 100% agreed. Not to take anything away from the Canes they are obviously a great team but the Islanders didn’t show up last game. If there were ever a validation that this lineup were stale last game was it.

I’m not expecting much out of this team at this point, but maybe this sets the stage for changes coming in the offseason. I think Roy is very much behind the idea of creating competition within the team. If it’s obvious to us, then it’s glaring to him. That loss the other night won’t sit well with a guy like Roy. Maybe we will finally get what we have been waiting for the past couple seasons.

Just changed it to tomorrow. Yeah whatever after that last performance you start throwing anything at the wall. Like I’ve stated numerous times I’m in full I don’t care mode this season bcs I think this team sucks moose balls but even I was pissed after watching that.

It was very similar to trying to protect the 1-0 lead in game 6 last year. I cannot believe Lane and now Patrick telling the team to sit on a lead. Time to stop blaming coaches and putting the blame on the GM and players.
