If Draisaitl did become available after the playoffs and was willing to come to Philly and sign long term, what do you think a trade would look like? I’ll add that Michkov is untouchable as the point would be to have those 2 play together.

I would assume the Oilers want to keep the window open for McDavid. So it couldn't just be picks. Frankly I do not see that the Flyers have enough to make it happen. Especially if Michkov is out of the equation.

Take Michkov off the table and the Flyers have very little in terms of pieces to compel the Oilers to trade Drai here. No top-5 pick. No other elite prospects. No budding NHL superstars. Just some expensive vets, B-level talent and a sea of middling depth.
Oilers could do so much better dealing with other clubs.

Foerster, Sanheim, York, TK, Peterson and 3 (2024-2026) unprotected 1st round picks for Draisaitl, Ekholm and Campbell. This deal assumes Draisaitl signs longterm with the Flyers.
