It’s funny though. Dallas drafted his dad 11OA and he turned out the best player in that draft. Most scouts had him in the 20s. - Minnyhock
Correct, Dallas got Joe Nieuwendyk. With this draft, there are not many potential center prospects in the top 13. Looks like Lindstrom, Iginla, and Helenius. Curious how quick they come off the board.

Tij moved to wing this year and flourished. I’m not sure how he projects at the NHL

Scott Wheeler has Helenius as the 10th best player in the draft. Scouts are saying he will probably go 6-20. Flyers could get him.

Good to know. I am curious where Trevor Connelly gets drafted. The age old question is when does an athlete get forgiven for off ice issues that did not involve being convicted of a crime?

My first initial gut feeling:
1) San Jose - Celebrini
2) Chicago - Demidov or Levshunov
3) Anaheim - Levshunov or Parekh
4) Columbus - Silayev or Demidov
5) Montreal - Lindstrom
6) Utah - Parekh or Silayev or Richardinson
7) Ottawa - Catton or Iginla
8) Seattle - Eiserman
9) Calgary - Iginla or Buium
10) New Jersey - Helenius
11) Buffalo - Yakemchuk or Richardinson
12) Philadelphia - Catton or Richardinson
Flyers are guaranteed atleast one of these:
Celebrini
Demidov
Levshunov
Lindstrom
Parekh
Silayev
Richardinson
Catton
Iginla
Eiserman
Buium
Helenius
Seems like a high floor low ceiling type. Pass - Just5
He doesn’t have high end tools but he’s solid all around. Size could be an issue for teams. IMO he’s a middle six for sure and solid chance to be a 2C.

A couple weeks ago Anthony Stewart who I think works closely with prospects, was singing this guys praises. - mikeyo27
I would love to see the Flyers draft Parekh and maybe somehow get a pick between 13-18 to draft Hage. I would be extremely happy with that first round.
